Options

Pages were laid out by the PDF's own geometry; fonts were substituted, so letter shapes and spacing differ from the original. The editable text is still in the file. If the file cannot be checked against its pages, it is written without them and this page says why.

Off by default. Answers already typed into a PDF form are often personal. If you keep them, they are written into the file as plain, unencrypted data that anyone who handles the file can read and change. The form fields themselves are always imported.

Off by default. For the few pages the importer is least sure of, your own Anthropic key asks a model which lines belong together. Before anything is sent you see the exact text, the destination and the estimated cost, and you confirm for each file. The model never writes the words in your file. Measured on 35 test documents (2026-10-17): with the default page selection it changed nothing, and sending every page lowered overall F1 from 0.967 to 0.946 and reading order from 1.000 to 0.901, so it stays off by default.

The look of the rebuilt document. Changing it re-runs the import on the PDF you chose.
